At Solid-Sounds we are always looking to push the aesthetics of our furniture forward. For many years we have offered our closed sided rack but we wanted to see if we could make the design more aesthetically dynamic. The HEX rack offers all the same features as its close sibling however with the addition of striking corner cuts the design suddenly comes to life.

Once again this design offers customers the look and feel of a high quality piece of furniture that elegantly shows off the equipment housed without being too intrusive. This design addresses many common issues our customers present us with including it being modular, very strong, gives easy to access cables whilst hiding them, offers great ventilation and is of course very room decor friendly.

Available in a number of real wood veneer finishes each rack is hand finished with a high quality satin hard wax oil finish to retain the natural beauty of the wood grain and texture. Each rack will be fully grain matched meaning the grain continues seamlessly from one tier to the next.

Finishes available include: American black walnut, Oak, Ash, Sapele (Teak), Cherry, Beech & paint finishes including the timeless black ash of course.

Available in both single or double width configurations each rack is built to your exact spacing requirements. This customisation ensures that your equipment is housed in a space that frames it and avoids having unsightly gaps above equipment. Additionally we are able to incorporate vinyl storage into the design meaning your favourite records are to hand as the urge to play them arises.

Common requests with this hifi rack design include the addition of a dedicated turntable levelling platform, sculpted rear shelves to aid cable dressing, Infrared friendly glass door, wooden rack, wood floor friendly feet and increasingly castors on the base layer to allow the whole rack to be manoeuvred when access to the back is required quickly.
