We get asked this a lot! As all our racks are truly one of a kind based around what your system needs its very hard to say without understanding the design first. Often potential customers approach us thinking they know what they want whereas actually their brief is very limited due to basing the design on the usual off the shelf rack designs. Our free design consultation seeks to ask the key questions which means you get the perfect well conceived rack you deserve; questions like... where will you put your mains block?

Invest just a bit of time talking to us and we will be able to design a made to measure solution with a price that's very competitive for you. We currently only sell direct to the public so lots of the usual hidden costs with mass market hifi racks are avoided such as distribution, retailing and warehousing.

Once a design is agreed we will provide a detailed itemised breakdown of the specifications of your rack along with a drawing and the all important build price.

If you wish to proceed with the commission then a 50% deposit is taken and your order will be added to our build schedule.

We normally suggest 6-8 weeks from deposit payment for a build to be completed. When the rack has been built final payment will be requested along with any shipping costs and at this point a date will be mutually agreed for delivery. 

All Solid-Sounds racks are delivered fully built so al you have to do is insert the spikes and start adding your hifi gear. No specialist tools to skills needed.

Our preferred method of payment is BACS however we also accept payment via credit or debit cards (including Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal.

Yes, we offer international shipping to select countries. Please get in touch to discuss the options available however it must be understood that the furniture is not flat packed so shipping costs can be high. 

Absolutely, we love it when customers visit us. Always good to meet like minded enthusiasts and there is always Yorkshire tea to be consumed during the collection.

We have yet to find their limit after hundreds of builds so we are confident to say  40kg with ease
